Molly McCann is “Of Counsel” with the Binnall Law Group. Her practice focuses on appeals and litigation concerning federal civil rights and the United States Constitution. Her cases include the critical fight against government overreach in COVID-19/vaccine mandates. Before joining the Binnall Law Group, she was a law clerk to the Hon. Edith H. Jones on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Molly is a veteran of high-profile cases where important constitutional rights are on the line, including cases involving congressional investigations and criminal prosecutions brought by the Special Counsel’s Office. 

Molly is the host of “America’s Moment.” The popular weekly podcast discusses important political and legal issues. Molly’s gift of advocacy is on full display in the podcast, where she breaks down important, and often complicated, issues so that they are easy to understand, even for non-lawyers.

During law school, Molly worked for then-Associate Attorney General Rachel Brand at the U.S. Department of Justice and then for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Constitution. Molly is a graduate of George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School. She received her undergraduate degree from Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula, Calif., where she defended her senior thesis with unanimous “Distinction.” 

Molly is a member of the Virginia Bar and admitted to practice in all courts of the Commonwealth. She is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
