Stephen French

Stephen has represented clients in both Federal and State Courts at the trial and appellate levels in a wide array of civil disputes involving federal statutory rights, eminent domain, contracts, construction, labor/employment, personal injury, and real estate. He began his career in 1996 as an associate with Lane, Trohn, Bertrand, Vreeland, and Jacobsen, a well-established Central Florida firm where he represented private clients and public entities. In 2000, Stephen joined Bush Ross, P.A. in Tampa, his hometown, where he continued to represent clients in civil disputes as plaintiffs and defendants protecting their contractual and legislative rights. More recently, he practiced with Gibbons/Neuman, P.A. with a focus on real estate disputes, construction defect claims, landlord/tenant, employment agreements, and bankruptcy adversarial proceedings.

In 2021, Stephen was certified as a Circuit Court Mediator by the Florida Supreme Court and provides mediation and arbitration services to parties litigating throughout the State of Florida.

Stephen has served as a Vestry member of his Church, chairman of the Board of Trustees of a parish day school, member of his alma maters’ alumni boards, and volunteer for several charitable organizations. Stephen and his wife are proud parents of two adult children.
